Trevor is an accomplished singer/songwriter and versatile musician, proficient on the guitar, banjo, piano, bass, drums, harmonica, and mandolin. He has over 13 years of teaching experience and 20 years experience as a performer.  He teaches across many styles including classical, jazz, blues, country, rock, metal, or bluegrass, and enjoys teaching students of all ages and levels.

Trevor studied jazz and classical styles on guitar under Dr. Douglas James and Mr. Todd Wright, as well as music theory on piano, at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC.  While there he was a member of the Appalachian State Jazz Ensemble, Guitar Ensemble, and the Gospel Choir.

His approach to teaching is focused on the student having fun while making notable progress, so that students get enjoyment out of lessons and practicing.  Trevor is mindful of the importance of structure, theory and technique, but laid back in his ability to accommodate the student’s own goals and aspirations.

$35 per 45-minute lesson
